Description:This posting is for two positions.

Seeking two persons for two identical positions in the Human Resources/Payroll Office. Each successful applicant will rotate on a biweekly (pay cycle) basis between general Human Resources reception duties and Payroll processing duties.
Duties:Human Resources Front Desk Task List:

1.General reception

- Greet all walk ins assist if possible direct to proper person if necessary

- Answer all incoming calls assist if possible direct to proper person if necessary

- Receive all mail/faxes and direct to proper person

- Receive all incoming documents, check them for completeness and correctness and route to proper person

-Assist walk ins with forms and keep all forms up-to-date and in adequate supply

- Maintain office supplies

2. Credentialing & Screening

- Credential Psychologists, Social Workers and Nurses

-Screen MDs for malpractice insurance

-Screen for child abuse registry for jobs involving children

3. New Hires

-Screen received new hire documents for completeness and correctness

-Route new hire documents to proper person

-Create new hire folders

4.Terminations

-Screen received termination documents for completeness and correctness

-Route termination documents to proper person

Payroll Specialist Task List:

5.Payroll Processing

-Reviews all payroll documents (new hires, PAFs, vouchers, direct deposits, tax and name/address changes, vacation payments) for accuracy and completeness

-Analyzes all payroll documents and prepares for input

-Enters all payroll documents into HR/PR system

-Verifies and checks all entries to source documents

6.Payroll verifications

-Wage and hour verification for unemployment claims

-Basic employment information verification for employment elsewhere

-Basic employment information verification for all other inquiries

7.Filing

-All Human Resources/Payroll documents.
Qualifications:- 2-3 Years combined experience in both Human Resources Reception and Payroll processing.

- Bachelors degree in relevant field preferred.

- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, attention to detail, ability to be pleasant and helpful to a wide range of applicants and employees using our services.

Must be experienced in the use of Word, Excel, and a payroll/human resources system.
