|Description:||Electrophysiological recordings will be made in rodent hippocampal slices using multiple recording and stimulating electrodes. Proficiency in hippocampal electrophysiology, anatomy, and general neuroscience is essential. A PhD in neuroscience or related discipline is a requirement.
|Duties:||This position will require relative independence so the techniques will need to already be known. Mice will require genotyping, and the preparation and maintenance of slices in a standard recording configuration will be necessary. Data analysis and preparation of data in figures will be required.|
|Qualifications:||A PhD in neuroscience or a related discipline and training in slice electrophysiology in hippocampus of rodents.
