Help Desk Intern / Technical Support Assistant, Level I (ISD)

Description:Assist with Help Desk problem tickets, desktop support, virus cleaning, new machine set-up, printer problems, diagnosing problems.
Duties:Desktop support, diagnosing machine and network issues, answering Help Desk Phones
Qualifications:The applicant for this position should be a technically-adept current, graduating, or prospective college student with a major or a strong interest in computer science and familiarity with Windows. The applicant must have an understanding of basic networking concepts and be able to communicate well with both technical and non-technical staff. A minimum commitment of 6 weeks is requested *The Research Foundation is a private not-for-profit corporation and is not an agency or instrumentality of the State of New York.
