|Description:||A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Efrat Levy at the Center for Dementia Research - the Nathan S. Kline Institute, an affiliate of NYU School of Medicine (http://cdr.rfmh.org/html/Lab_Levy.html). The Institute is a world-renowned facility for research on Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative disorders situated close to New York City, providing a unique research and training opportunity to combine molecular, morphologic, and in vitro and in vivo approaches in a multidisciplinary setting. This full-time position is a federally funded research project that involves the study of disease mechanisms in cellular and transgenic mouse models of Alzheimer's disease and related neurodegenerative disorders.|
|Duties:||This individual will work closely with the P.I. performing experiments, analyzing data, and writing manuscripts.|
|Qualifications:||Candidate should have a Ph.D. or the equivalent and must have a strong research background as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications in international journals. The candidate must work efficiently, have great problem solving ability, excellent organizational skills, be fluent in English, and have good writing and excellent interpersonal skills.
