|Description:||Half-time Assistant Research Scientist needed to provide support for MRI studies of children with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). |
|Duties:||- assist in the execution of, and adherence to, the research protocol|
-schedule and prepare subjects for MRI scanning
- perform MRI data analysis and image processing
- handle subject payments, attend staff meetings, and perform other study-related administrative tasks as needed
|Qualifications:||Bachelor's degree in behavioral science (e.g., psychology) or computer science, and at least 1.5 years of related experience|
-must be available during evening and weekend hours
-must have close attention to detail and excellent communication skills
-experience with MATLAB, MRI data analysis, Excel and SPSS preferred
-bilingual in Spanish a plus
This position involves regular and substantial contact with children. The successful candidate will be screened through the New York State Central Child Abuse Register prior to assuming any duties that will involve contact with children. There is a $25.00 fee for this service which must be paid by the successful candidate.
