|Description:||The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc (RFMH) is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Fidelity and Outreach Coordinator (Program Specialist) for an innovative evidence-based program. |
The First Episode Psychosis (FEP) initiative is under the Center for Practice Innovations (CPI) in the Division of Mental Health Services and Policy Research.
This initiative provides specialized early intervention treatment teams for individuals experiencing a newly emerging psychotic disorder.
The person in this position will be responsible for a myriad of duties pertaining to:
1). Outreach and recruitment efforts across programs, and
2). Collecting, tracking, and synthesizing fidelity data. This person will be highly visible interfacing between programs, providing support and technical assistance. The incumbent will report to and work closely with the FEP project director as well as the Director of Center for Practice Innovation (CPI).
|Duties:||Duties include, but are not limited to:
1)Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with program staff to facilitate the systematic and orderly flow of data to document service provision as well as outreach efforts.
2)Developing a quality assurance system to ensure that the data collected are complete and accurate.
3)Preparing written and graphical summaries of findings and project activities for internal and external communications.
4)Interfacing between programs while offering technical assistance to programs regarding outreach and recruitment.
5)Tracking outreach efforts across programs
6)Tracking referral sources so that referral networks can be identified
7)Working with program personnel to develop brochures, a website, and other recruitment material
8)Fulfilling other responsibilities as they emerge
|Qualifications:||•Master’s degree in an appropriate field including Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or a related social science and at least two years experience in the related field. |
•Strong written and verbal communication skills are required - the incumbent will interface regularly with clinical program staff.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products including Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
•Strong analytic skills, able to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively
•Experience in community-based mental health services strongly preferred.
