|Description:||Someone with strong interpersonal skills and previous training and experience working with adolescents and adults in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings to recruit patients with a variety of psychiatric disorders for clinical research. Preparation of materials for irb, manuscript and grant submissions as well as data entry and analysis involved. The candidate will visit inpatient and outpatient facilities and network with clinicians throughout the New York area to enhance recruitment. Opportunities for growth including clinical supervision as well as opportunity to supervise interns. Candidate should be interested in outreach as well as developing new skills, ideas and methodologies. |
|Duties:||Recruiting subjects. Entering data and assisting with data analysis, assisting with preparation of irb, manuscript and grant materials. Interviewing and assessing patients, phlebotomy, administration of psychological scales and some physical assessment (e.g weight, height, blood pressure).
|Qualifications:||BA in psychology or related field as well as experience with SPSS and word processing and significant previous clinical and research training experience with adolescents, parents and adults. Valid Driverís license for driving to different venues.
Masters degree in social work or psychology is preferred.
Facility in other language and psychoeducational training a plus.
